Book an appointment at a time and place that suits you.

Early detection and prevention are key to long-term wellbeing. Our health checks help you understand where you are now and provide practical tools to start improving your health straight away.

What's involved in a Health check?

The Health Checks involve four simple measures (body mass index - BMI, blood pressure, total cholesterol and blood glucose levels) that give useful insights into your health and wellbeing:

  • Body Mass Index (BMI) – Calculates body fat based on your weight in relation to your height. It's a screening tool for weight categories that may lead to health problems.

  • Blood Pressure – Measures the force of blood against artery walls. High blood pressure (hypertension) often has no symptoms but is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke.

  • Cholesterol – Measures the level of fats (lipids) in your blood. High cholesterol can lead to a buildup of plaque in arteries, increasing the risk of heart attack or stroke.

  • Blood Glucose – Measures the amount of sugar in your blood. This is a key test for screening and diagnosing prediabetes and diabetes.
